A market-ready food label starts before graphic design.

The safest time to review a label is before the artwork is final. A reliable review begins with the product itself: its recipe, specifications, supplier information, production process and intended market.

Before approving artwork, confirm the legal product name, ingredient order, highlighted allergens, quantitative ingredient declarations, net quantity, durability wording, storage instructions, responsible food-business operator and the evidence supporting nutrition or marketing claims.

Each target market and language version should be checked deliberately. A label that works in one country may still need changes before entering another market. Early technical review reduces redesign, printing waste and avoidable launch delays.

Professional note: label guidance supports decision-making and does not replace final verification against the current rules for the specific product and market.
